The TARDIS Cabinets Little Free Library
Image Gallery Below
A Little Free Library is a "take a book, share a book" free book exchange.
They come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share.
There is an understanding that real people are sharing their favorite books with their community; little libraries have been called "mini-town squares."
I suggest the "Little Free Library" top signage for two reasons. Identification, and Vandalism.
In a public area, there will be people unfamiliar with Doctor Who & "Police Box" may confuse. Some, with that unfamiliararity plus a strong distaste for the police will vandalise.
This TARDIS build is unique among my cabinets in that it is built for the outdoors. Much more goes into an outdoor box.
Pictured are 1/4th scale TARDISes, built entirely out of kiln-dried hardwoods, poplar, birch, and western red oak. All glues used are waterproof, all seams sealed with high-quality waterproof caulking.
The top light is solar powered and also illuminates the inside of the box at night.
I generally do not list this in my online store because of the price.
The Little Free Library Cabinet complete is £1000. Packing and shipping from Wales is additional and will be determined by your location.
Available in any of the Doctor’s TARDIS designs and only to buyers in the United Kingdom
